Ashley is currently in the dissertation stage of her doctorate in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University. She is a Google Certified Innovator and a STAR Discovery Educator. She holds a master’s degree in Special Education and a bachelor’s in Elementary Education, both obtained from The University of Southern Mississippi. She has taught first grade, third grade, and inclusion classes. She has worked as a technology integrator training K-12 teachers.
Ashley loves to travel and collaborate. She has met with U.S. Department of Education, senators, lobbyists to advocate for STEM education, particularly concerning women and minorities. She recently traveled to Singapore to observe innovative teaching practices. While she was there, she collaborated with the Singapore Ministry of Education, International Schools & Academy of Singapore Teachers.
